Get Travel-Ready

The first rule of thumb is one easy phone call. Before you leave the country, notify DEXSTA by contacting your nearest branch. We’ll need to know where you’re going and how long you’ll be there. For example, if you’re heading to Thailand for three months, we need to know those details so we can make sure it’s really you using your personal credit card information. 

Travel with Multiple Cards

DEXSTA offers multiple credit cards with different benefits. And traveling with only one working credit card can potentially put you in a bind. We recommend you travel with multiple credit cards that are linked to your DEXSTA account(s) so that you’re not stranded without any funds. Things like lost and stolen cards happen when you travel, and having two DEXSTA cards is always better than one. 

Find a Safe ATM

ATMs in foreign destinations aren’t always as secure as we hope they would be. DEXSTA recommends that you find an ATM attached to an accredited business. And while you’re there, do your best to hide your PIN when you punch it into the keypad.

You can download the DEXSTA mobile app to your phone and link all of your accounts so that they’re easy to access. There may not be a DEXSTA branch in Thailand, but you can access your online account anywhere there’s a decent wifi signal.
